Animals, animals, animals

Last week Lucy's mum brought in Bob the Blue Tongue Lizard for us to look at and learn about. Lucy had lots of information to share about what Bob likes to eat; meat, blueberries, mashed banana, and his favourite 'snails'. Bob felt cold to touch which wasn't surprising because we knew he was cold-blooded. He also felt smooth and not slimy. Bob, as you might have guessed, has a blue tongue and it looks like a snakes tongue, he uses his tongue to smell with. Bob walks slowly when he is cold but when he warms up he can run fast.
